Our Love Story

For Brittany and Jay, it was never about if they would meet, but when. Their paths almost crossed many times through mutual friends and familiar places, but life waited until the timing was right.

At the beginning of 2023, they finally met, and from the start it felt effortless. Their first date at Gilde Brewery was meant to be quick and casual. What should have been a one-hour drink turned into a six-hour conversation that neither of them wanted to end. From there, everything grew naturally. More dinners, more long talks, and more weekends together made it clear that being a part of each other’s lives was exactly where they belonged.

Two years later, in Mayakoba, Mexico, Jay planned the perfect proposal. After a morning of golf, he brought Brittany to a dock covered in rose petals and asked her to marry him. She said yes, and they celebrated with a private boat ride to a candlelit dinner, complete with tableside guacamole and flautas.

Now, Brittany and Jay share a home in Charlotte with their four pets: Duncan, Franklin, Simba, and Boots. Their days are a mix of golf games, race weekends, Mario Kart rivalries, and cozy nights in. They cannot wait to celebrate their wedding surrounded by the family and friends who helped their story come to life.
